Wes-Del girls golf put together a strong showing at the Mid-Eastern Conference Match on Saturday at Cardinal Hills Golf Course, finishing third overall with a team score of 431. Addison Huffman led the Warriors, finishing with an 88 to finish sixth overall and earn All-Conference honors. Ava Johnson placed 12th with a 111, Quinn Slopsema finished 14th with a 115, and Annabelle Carter and Keira Banister each shot 117, finishing 15th and 17th, respectively. Johnson, Slopsema, Carter, and Banister all earned All-Conference Honorable Mention honors. The Warriors also celebrated several individual milestones during the round. Banister recorded her first par of the season on the par-3 fifth hole, while Slopsema earned her first par on the par-4 12th. Huffman provided one of the highlights of the day by recording her first eagle on the par-4 12th hole.
