The Wes-Del girls golf team battled the heat in a close match against Muncie Burris, falling 213-222. Addison Huffman led the Warriors and earned medalist honors with a round of 45. Quinn Slopsema followed with a 57, Ruthy Leman shot a 59, and Keira Banister finished with a 61. Ava Johnson added a 65, while Annabelle Carter carded a 67. All six Warriors played well despite the hot conditions and showed great effort throughout the match.
