The Wes-Del JV football team turned in an impressive all-around performance last night, rolling past Southwood behind big plays on offense, defense, and special teams. The Warriors established their ground game early, with Landon Miller and Colton Stanley each finding the end zone on rushing touchdowns. Quarterback Jaxon Drumm also made an impact through the air, connecting with Kevin Lopez for a touchdown pass. One of the biggest plays of the night came on special teams when Lukas Glaser returned a kickoff all the way for a touchdown, adding to the Warriors’ momentum. Defensively, Wes-Del played physical football from start to finish. Rylan Stinson and Tashawn Isom led the way in tackles as the Warriors consistently disrupted Southwood’s offense and prevented them from finding a rhythm. It was a strong team effort for Wes-Del, with contributions in all three phases of the game.
