Warriors Shut Out Southern Wells, 50-0 Wes-Del turned in a dominant performance on both sides of the ball, defeating Southern Wells 50-0. The Warriors scored seven touchdowns while piling up 374 yards of total offense, including 241 yards on the ground. Wes-Del featured a balanced rushing attack led by Haiden Hassett with 65 yards on eight carries. Zach Gillam added 55 yards and a touchdown, while Rhyker Mauck rushed for 53 yards and two scores. Noah Perdue, Eli Wright and Colton Stanley each added rushing touchdowns. The Warriors also struck through the air. Perdue completed both of his passes for 100 yards and a touchdown, connecting with Ryan Hyre for a 68-yard score. Hyre finished with two receptions for 100 yards. The Wes-Del roster lists Perdue at quarterback and Hyre at wide receiver. The defense was equally impressive, keeping Southern Wells off the scoreboard while recording 13 tackles for loss and three sacks. Wright led the Warriors with six tackles and a sack, while Jack Fields and Braxton Harmeyer also recorded sacks. It was a complete team effort as the Warriors controlled the game offensively and defensively on their way to the 50-0 shutout victory.
