Warriors Compete at New Haven Classic Our Wes-Del boys and girls cross country teams competed Saturday at the 2026 New Haven Classic, gaining valuable experience in a large and competitive field. Our boys were led by Jack Brunner, who turned in an impressive 5K time of 18:02.41 to place 14th. Elijah Cook followed in 20th place at 18:15.91, with Christopher Lopez right behind him in 21st at 18:16.60. Leo Davis finished in 20:09.70, while Luke Humbert rounded out our top five in 20:42.20. Ranen DuBois finished in 21:26.91, followed by Justin Wise (22:42.50), Beckett Lamb (23:50.20), Rylin Cox (25:03.30), Alexander Ross (27:02.90) and Christian King (33:10.20). On the girls side, Noelle Ernstberger paced our Warriors with a time of 26:15.40. Mary Wormer crossed the finish line in 29:00.90, Tori Ward finished in 31:08.30 and Amber Dillard recorded a time of 34:46.40. The New Haven Classic provided our runners with an opportunity to compete in one of the larger meets on our schedule as we continue working toward the postseason.
