The JV boys' basketball team defeated Lincoln (Cambridge City) in their season opener with a final score of 67-30. Defense was huge for the Warriors, led by Chris Lopez who was outstanding defensively causing multiple turnovers through his ball pressure. The team did a great job of crashing the offensive glass, scoring on multiple second chance opportunities. Rhyker Mauck led the way in scoring with 16 points followed by Ethan Stafford and Brody Becerra who each scored 11 points. The JV Warriors are back in action on Saturday in their home opener against Alexandria-Monroe with a 6pm tip-off time.
