The Varsity boys' basketball team traveled to Cambridge City on Wednesday night to take on the Eagles of Lincoln High School in their season opener and came home with a hard fought 75-63 win. The game was very fast paced with both teams looking to score in transition. In the end, the Warriors hot shooting, led by Josiah Love and Julian Carpenter proved to be too much for the Eagles to handle. Gabe Becerra did a great job of guiding the Warrior offense with 7 assists on the night. The Warriors will be back in action on Saturday night when they take on Alexandria-Monroe in their home opener. The JV team will tip off at 6pm with the varsity to follow.
